Wings Of A Prayer

Just close your Eyes and open your heart,
And feel your worries and cares depart.
Just yield yourself to the Father above,
And let him hold you secure in his love.

For life on earth grows more involved,
With endless problems that can't be solved,
But God only ask us to do our best,
Then he will take over and finish the rest...

So when you are tired, discouraged and blue,
There is always one door that is open to you,
And that is the door to The House of Prayer,
And you'll find God waiting to meet you there
And The House of Prayer is no further away,
than the quiet spot where you kneel and pray.

For the heart is a temple when God is there
As we place ourselves in his loving care.
And He hears every prayer and answers each one
When we Pray in His name - Thy will be done.
The burdens that seemed too heavy to bear
Are lifted away on the wings of a prayer.



Remind Me God

Dear God,
When I am lonely and,
Perhaps I feel despair.
Let not my ailing heart forget,
That YOU hear every prayer..
Remind me that no matter what,
I do or fail to do,
There still is hope for as long
As I have FAITH in YOU..
Let not my eyes be blinded by
Some folly I commit.
But help me to regret my wrong,
And to make up for it..
Inspire me to put my fears,
Upon a hidden shelf,
And in the future never to
Be sorry for myself.
Give me the restful sleep I need,
Before another dawn,
And bless me in the morning with
"THE COURAGE TO GO ON.."

Through It All

Well we've had many tears and sorrow;
We've had questions for tomorrow;
There've been times we didn't know right from wrong;
But in every situation God gave us blessed consolation
That our trials come to only make us strong.
Ohh We've been to lots of places,
And we've seen a lot of faces,
There've been times I felt so all alone;
But in our lonely hours, yes, those precious lonely hours,
Jesus let us know that we are His own.
Through it all, Through it all,
We've learned to trust in Jesus,
we've learned to trust in God.
Through it all, Through it all,
We've learned to depend upon His Word.
I thank God for the mountains,
And we thank Him for the valleys,
We thank Him for the storms He brought me through.
For if we've never had a problem,
We wouldn't know that He could solve them,
We wouldn't know what faith in God could do.


Remember Me God

I come every day
Just to talk with you, Lord,
And to learn how to pray
You make me feel welcome,
You reach out Your hand,
I need never explain
For You understand
I come to You frighten
And burdened with care
So lonely and lost
And so filled with despair,
And suddenly, Lord,
I'm no longer afraid,
My burden is lighter
And the dark shadows fade
Oh, God what a comfort
To know that You care
And to know when I seek you,
YOU WILL ALWAYS BE THERE!

Never Be Discouraged

There is really nothing we need know
Or even try to understand
If we refuse to be discouraged
And trust God’s guiding hand.
So take heart & meet each minute
With faith in God’s great love
Aware that every day of life
Is controlled by God above.
And never dread tomorrow
Or what the future brings
Just pray for strength and courage
And trust God in all things.
So never grow discouraged,
Be patient and just wait
For God never comes too early
And He never comes too late.
